No data is transmitted to the developer or any third party. Information gathered is stored in the app database and backed up in your iCloud account, shared only on your other devices where these apps are installed and the devices are logged into the same iCloud account.

            

  Access to the photo library is not required to enable journaling of photos. , limited access works well because you preselect the photos for the page every time you want to create or modify the journal. page

            

  The location information comes from the standard Apple location services and is permissioned to use your location only when a map is displayed and is not tracked. All locations identified in the app are added by you and not used anywhere else.
